Erlene Hargett Cook, 86, of Bowling Green, Ky died at 2:45 p.m. Sunday, January 23, 2011 at the Hospice Center in Bowling Green, Ky. The Widemouth, West Virginia native was a retired employee of Commericial Credit Plan Inc. in Blue Ridge, Georgia and member of Richpond Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Marion Lewis Hargett and Ella Meadow Hargett and wife of the late Harry Dion Cook.
She is survived by 1 daughter: Vicki D. Hart, Bowling Green, Ky;
2 sisters: Mary Peek, Waco, Tx and Norma Perry, Ceres, Ca;
1 grandson: Jonathan Dion Hart, Bowling Green, Ky;
1 sister-in-law: Sara Hargett, Springfield, Tn;
2 great granddaughters: Julie Hart and Jasmine Hart, both of Bowling Green, Ky;
She was preceded in death by 1 brother: Bob Hargett.
Funeral services for Erlene Hargett Cook will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Richpond Baptist Church with Bro. Steve Hussung officiating and burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Goad Funeral Home and 9:00 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Richpond Baptist Church.
