June attended school at Crawford and married Frank William Barber on May 15, 1932 in Cheyenne, OK. They made their home in the Pie Flat Community where Frank was a farmer and rancher.
She was a member of the Crawford Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
She is survived by 1 daughter Judy Comer of Enid, OK; 1 son and daughter in law, Wayne and Shirley Barber, Crawford, OK; 1 sister, Wanzell Davis, Elk City, OK; 2 brothers, Travis Hardin, Canadian, TX and Jack Hardin, Odessa, TX; 4 grandchildren, Bruce Wayne Barber, Cindy A. Sewell, Joshua William Comer, Jarrod Wade Comer, 7 great grandchildren, Brandon Wayne, Megan, Abby, Kylie, Reid, Shelby and Darby Kate; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services were at 2:00 p.m. Saturday May 23, 1998 at the Cheyenne Church of Christ officiated by Ray Don Jackson, and assisted by Jay Eckhart. Interment was in the Pie Flat Cemetery, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
