Erma Louise Hardcastle Addison was born in Dustin, Oklahoma on January 26, 1934 to Tommy and Grace Hardcastle and passed from this life on September 23, 2012 at the age of 78. Erma graduated from Dustin High School in 1952. She was married for 44 years. She loved reading her Bible, listening to gospel music, and walking her dog Sadie. Erma also loved going shopping and having lunch with her sister Jolene. She had a beautiful flower garden that she enjoyed tending. Her roses are still blooming. Erma was blessed with many neighbors that she visited with each day. Erma was preceded in death by her parents, and one grandson. Erma is survived by her sister, Jolene Brison of Henryetta, Oklahoma, Paulette Layne of Wetumka, Oklahoma, Donna Cummings of Maud, Oklahoma and Sandy McFarland of Kayule, Alaska. She had 9 grandchildren, Matt Layne, Erin Bowman, Paulette Guthrie, Billy Peixotto, Amanda McFarland, Chris Layne, Daniel McFarland, Sam Layne, and Abby Cummings. Erma also had 11 great-grandchildren, Canann Bowman, Elisabeth Boman, Dylan Guthrie, Tyson Layne, Lauren Peixotto, Jullian Guthrie, Rylan Layne, Nolen Peixotto, Alexxis Layne, Mattie Layne, Kiefer Peixott, and numerous nieces and nephews. Erma passed away in her home surrounded by her daughters, sister and Ablay. Erma will be missed by all that knew and loved her. Services will be Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. graveside at Dustin Cemetery with Reverend Kurt Billinger officiating. Services under the direction of Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home Wetumka, Oklahoma.
