Ms Dominy was a graduate of the Georgia Women's College where she earned her bachelor's degree in education She was a former educator with the Johnson and Laurens County school systems and was Johnson County's first Woman of the Year. She was a charter member of the Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority and a former Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member of Brown Memorial Baptist Church where she taught the Sodohtan Sunday school class for over 50 years She was preceded m death by her husband, the late E.A. Dominy. Mrs Dominy passed Monday afternoon.
