Mrs. John Beck died after a long illness, at her home in Lamont, on Monday, March 8, aged 55 years, 10 months and 8 days. She was born in Norway but came to America in 1871, and lived in this vicinity to the time of her death.
She leaves besides her husband, one brother and one sister. They are Mrs. Chris Hendrickson and Jos. Hanson, both of Lamont. One sister, Mrs. Thos. Nelson, of Darlington, died suddenly last fall.
The funeral was held at the Apple Grove Lutheran church, yesterday.
