She was born December 4, 1910 in St. Charles, Idaho to Harley Valinious Hansen and Effie Maryetta Arnell.
She married Ezra Leonard Belnap on October 6, 1927 in Paris, Idaho; later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.
She was a lifelong resident of Holladay and an active member of the LDS Church. She served faithfully in many church positions, including Primary, Relief Society, Young Woman's Organization, and served for many years as Sunday School Secretary.
She enjoyed playing woman's baseball and delighted in the opportunity to coach young woman in the Church Softball Programs, where she effected many lives for good. The Holladay Lady Lions benefited from her compassionate service.
Lina worked for many years helping her husband provide for their family. Those who worked and served with her will remember her work ethic and especially positive attitude and quick wit, which was evident up until the time of her death.
Nana's children and grandchildren will remember her for her "from scratch" homemade bread and sugar cookies, which no one has been able to duplicate.
She is survived by her five children, Donna Lewis, Vaughn (Pat) Belnap, Marvin (Bobbie) Belnap, and Judy (Gary) Dansie, all of Salt Lake City; and Valdon (Joanne) Belnap, Orem; twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren, and one sister, Helen Bassett, Soda Springs, Idaho. Preceded in death by her husband, parents, son-in-law, and ten brothers and sisters.
