Graduated 1938 Colesburg, Iowa High School.

With husband, in 1953, they started the grocery store business in Colesburg and continued the business until they retired in 1982.

Survivors include one son, Robert (Trudy) Daily of Colesburg; two grandchildren, Jill (Shawn) Bakey of Colesburg and Jason Daily of Cedar Rapids; and two great-grandchildren, Jayden and Keeley Bakey.
