Susan Rose McGuire, 43, of Florence, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010, surrounded by family, ending her battle with cancer.
Visitation with family and friends will be 5-6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, at Spring Valley Church of Christ, with a memorial service to begin at 6 p.m. with Joe Williams officiating.
Susan was a member of Spring Valley Church of Christ. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved life and loved to laugh.
Susan made arrangements to have her body donated to Genesis Donor Program for cancer research with the hope that she could help others with cancer. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Carol Hannan.
She is survived by her son, Andrew McGuire and wife, Leslie; daughter, Jessica Fields and husband, Tim; brother, Jim Hannan and wife, Lisa; brother, Fred Hannan; sister, Ann Jenkins and husband, Mike; two grandsons, Corbin McGuire and Dylan Fields.
Colbert Memorial Chapel of the Shoals is assisting the family.
