EDSEL HANNAHS
Edsel F. Hannahs, Sr., 69, of Wellsburg, West Virginia, died Sunday January 20, 2013 at Weirton Medical Center. He was born June 11, 1943 in Barnesville, Ohio, son of the late Ervin Hannahs and Pearl Hayes Hannahs.
He was a truck driver for ODOT. Edsel had a deep and unconditional love for his family. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy J. Morris Hannahs.
Edsel is survived by his daughter, Tina L. Doty of Barnesville, Ohio; sons, Edsel F. Hannahs, Jr. and Fred L. (Amy) Hannahs of Wellsburg, West Virginia; sister, Emma (Roger) Buck, Sr., of Graysville, Ohio; grandchildren, David, Jason, Austin, and Destiny; and great-granddaughter, Addison.
Family and friends are welcome to visit, Wednesday 4 to 8 p.m., at Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 702 East Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio where the service will be conducted, Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Calais Cemetery in Calais, Ohio.
