Lydia, age 100, of Brooklyn, passed away on Friday at the HospiceCare Center in Fitchburg. She was born the daughter of Peter & Bertha (Gall) Holzman. Lydia married Albert Hann on June 4, 1932. They owned and operated Lakeside Garage in Madison for 45 years. She was a member of Brooklyn Lutheran Church and their ALCW. Lydia is survived by three children, Kathleen Stapleton of Lakewood, CO, Albert (Myra) Hann of Oregon,WI, and Robert Hann of Brooklyn, WI and San Francisco, CA; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Martin (Ame) of Eagle, WI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert in 1984; son-in-law, John Stapleton in 2000; a grandson, Todd Hann in 1989; a sister; and six brothers. Funeral services were held on Thursday at Brooklyn Lutheran Church with the Rev. Rebecca Ninke presiding. Memorials may be made to the Oregon Senior Center or Brooklyn Lutheran Church. Gunderson Oregon Funeral and Cremation Centers assisted with arrangements.
