Christopher Hanlon, of Quincy, formerly of Dedham and Marshfield, passed away June 6, 2011. He was 52. Son of the late William and Dorothy Hanlon. Loving father of Emily and the late Kelly Hanlon. Loving brother of Rita McArdle and her husband James of Cedar Knolls, NJ, William Hanlon and his wife Jeannie of Quincy, and Kathleen Orth and her husband William of East Sandwich. Former husband of Susan Hanlon of Taunton. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Chris graduated from Marshfield High, Class of 76 and later from Wentworth Institute of Technology and Calhoun Maritime Academy in Baltimore, MD. He was employed most recently as a shipwright on the USS Constitution. Chris loved biking especially on Cape Cod and exploring Boston. He was a lover of the ocean and sailing and he was an avid reader. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass in St. Anns Church, 757 Hancock St., Quincy at 11 a.m. Donations in memory of Chris may be made to his daughter Emily Hanlon Education Fund and mailed to 173 Warren Ave., Quincy, MA 02170.
