Their son, Lindsay Johnson Carey was born Sunday, July 8, 1877. He married Virginia Ellen Hayes, born Sunday, September 13, 1885 in Missouri and died Thursday, September 18, 1958 in San Francisco.
Lindsay and Virginia Carey had two daughters, Gladys M. Carey and Elizabeth Jean Shaffer; and a son, James Carey.
Lindsay Carey died Sunday, June 13, 1954 in San Francisco, San Francisco County, California.
The daughter of Mary and Lindsay, Lillian Carey Enloe was born in 1879.
She married Enoch L. Enloe, a professor, who became president of a normal school and later, a justice of the peace in Precinct 29 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. A son of Lillian and Enoch Enloe, James Carey Enloe has a biography featured in the Historical Encyclopedia of New Mexico.
Mrs. Enloe died in 1934 in Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico, at the age of 49.
