Ella Jane Burner, 99, of Harmar Place, Marietta, died Tuesday at Harmar Place.

Mrs. Burner was a homemaker and a former member of the Rebekah Lodge. She was a Baptist.

She was born in Hebron, WV, a daughter of the late Christopher and Minerva Jane Barker Hanlin.

She is survived by three daughters, Loretta Poling of Parkersburg, Leona May Roberts of Vienna and Martha Hackathorn of St. Marys; one son, Otto Burner Jr., of Parkersburg; three sisters, Vannie Shearon of Reno, Martha Davis of Parkersburg and Delphia Callilhan of Huntington; 24 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto Burner, in 1974; two sons, Carl and George Burner; three brothers; four sisters; and three

Services will be held at 11am Thursday, at Independent Baptist Church, Vienna, with the Rev. Robert May Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
