Paul was born in Lawrence County Ohio. His deep love of family ties led him to becoming a top notch genealogist. He also loved the country life and his children. He was active in church and is responsible for adding some Hankins research to the Lawrence County Genealogical Society. He enjoyed working with his hands and traveling to do family research. This is how we met as cousins back in 1982 and took a trip together. Everafter, we worked together on our history bringing our families closer together. He leaves a wife Geradine Abner Hankins, no children to this union.
The Abner Family Cemetery has five or six other family members from the Abner family line which has not yet be recorded.
