Warren was the second child of Henry Leroy Hanes and Susan Ann Thibedeau. Warren was killed in the fire at his family's flat; the fire claimed the life of his older brother, Bobbie the following day. Warren was a little over 2 months shy of his 2nd birthday when he perished in the fire.
