She was born Jul 1, 1918, Jewell, the daughter of John and Clara (Bates) Hammon. she married William Fullar, who died in 1990. She received a business degree from the Indiana School of Business, was a member of the S.C.O.A., Old Stone United Methodist Church and Eastern Star. She was a volunteer at Amherst Office of Aging and Amherst Hospital.
Surviving are a son, William, Freeport, N.Y.: a daughter, Nancy Carlsen, Oakdale, Minn.; a brother, John Hammon, Defiance; and four grandchildren. Also preceding her in death was a sister, Mary Schroder.
Services will be at noon Monday in Hempel Funeral Home, Amherst, with Rev. Peter Kerlin officiating. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery. Visitation is from 2-4 and 7-9 p..m. Today. Preferred memorials are to the church.
