Double funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock at First Baptist Church for Mrs. G.M. Sanders of 411 West Calhoun street and for her sister, Mrs. Dona Eades of Kerlin. Both died Saturday. Mrs. Eades had been ill for a long time and a few minutes after she died Mrs. Sanders, who had gone that day to visit her, died of a heart attack.
Mrs. Sanders, 76, is survived by her husband; two sons, Calvin Sanders of Houston, Tex., and Malvin of Dallas, Tex.; three daughters, Mrs. Frank Moffat of New Orleans, La., Mrs. H.P. Morgan of Haynesville, La., and Mrs. Paul Leimgruebler of Magnolia; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Eades, who would have been 79 years old on Feb. 4, is survived by one daughter, Mrs. J.S. Wright of route 5, Magnolia, and six sons: John E. Eades of Magnolia, Virgil D. and George W. Eades of route 5, Velmer B. Eades of Shreveport, La., Corbin H. of Duncan, Okla., and Arkey of Dallas, Tex.
Mrs. Sanders and Mrs. Eades are survived by three brothers, Henry Hammock of McRae, Ran Hammock of Seattle, Wash., and Ed Hammock of Houston, Tex.
Rev. E.B. Jones, pastor of First Baptist Church, conducted the rites and Lewis Funeral Home was in charge of burial in Magnolia cemetery.
