John A. Hamilton, Athens, formerly of Sheffield, died Friday at 12 noon at the Athens Hospital after an extended illness.
Services will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. from McConnell Funeral Home in Athens. Burial will follow in Athens Cemetery.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Betty Hamilton; two daughters, Mrs. Ed. C. McCune and Mrs. George G. Williamson, Athens; a son, Ralph M. Hamilton, Colbert Heights; two grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
