DURHAM, N.C., Nov. 25 (UPI) -- Dr. Edwin C. Hamblen, 63, veteran member of the Duke University Medical Center faculty, died yesterday, following a heart attack.
Dr. Hamblen, a specialist in gynecology and endocrinology, was internationally known for his contributions to the physiology of reproduction and to the pathology, diagnosis and treatment of disorders of gonadal function.
Dr. Hamblen was laid to rest in Duke University Medical Center (School of Medicine) due to his esteemed status as professor as well as in international circles.
