Nora Aaron, 89, of Russell Springs, died Tuesday, October 10, 2000, at the Russell County Hospital.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Russell Springs Christian Church. (Note: She had worked at both the State Park as a cook and as a cook for Hubbard's Restaurant.)
Born in Russell County on March 16, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Effie Blankenship and Robert Ham.
She is survived by four daughters, Phyllis Lawless of Jamestown, Bettie Emerson of Anchorage, Alaska, and Carla Grider and Linda Stephens, both of Russell Springs; one brother, Scott E. "Pete" Ham of Portland, Tn; two sisters, Elizabeth Porter of Russell Springs and Kate Holt of Jamestown; 22 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Stephen H. Aaron, two sons, William "Bill" Aaron and James H. Aaron and three grandchildren.
Funeral Services were Tuesday, October 10 at Bernard Funeral Home.
