Cecil E. Halterman, 65, of San Diego, previously of Des Moines, Iowa, died Thursday. He was born in Palmyra, Iowa. He served in the Air Force and retired as a hydraulic technician for Bridgestone-Firestone.
Survivors include his wife, LaVerna M. Halterman; daughters, Shari R. Dattke of San Diego and Liza M. Condon of Des Moines, Iowa; son, Cecil V. Halterman of Montezuma, Iowa; brother, Jack Halterman of Pulaski, Iowa; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held yesterday. Interment Palmyra Cemetery, Palmyra, Iowa.
