Helen Hall Marcum, 58, of 3705 Old Frankfort Pike, Versailles, wife of William A. "Bill" Marcum, died Tuesday, February 23, 1999, at the University of Kentucky A. B. Chandler Medical Center Hospital, Lexington. She was born in Perry County, the daughter of Verna Caudill Hall and the late James Hon Hall. She was an operating room nurse for over 30 years at the University of Kentucky A. B. Chandler Medical Center. Other survivors include two daughters, Linda C. Marcum, Versailles, and Patsy J. Nicholson, Louisville; a son, David W. Marcum, Lexington; two brothers, James Leland Hall and Paul Edward Hall, both of Perry County; and two grandchildren, Stephanie Cornett and Christopher Marcum. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, February 26, at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home, Versailles, by the Rev. Mark Johnson. Interment will follow in the Midway Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today, February 25, at the funeral home.
