Grace A. Dose, 68, of Washington died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Born April 12, 1939 in Versailles, IL to Charles H. and Helen Smith Hall, Grace married Gerald Edwin "Jerry" Dose on April 7, 1973 in Creve Coeur, IL. He survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Kimberly Dose; two sisters, Bobbie Hodges and Marjorie Kenny; and a special sister-in-law, Mary Kay Hall.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

Grace worked at the Children's Home in Peoria. She later worked in Housekeeping at Graham Hospital in Keokuk, IA and at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.

She was a former member of the St. Thomas Church prayer group in Peoria Heights. Although she was raised and married in the Nazarene Church, she was a converted member of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed attending mass at Sacred Heart Church in Peoria with her daughter for many years.

Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
