Born to Arthur Dow Bly and Flora Estelle Douglass Bly in a dugout north of Ingalls, Ks. Married on Wed. July 29,1931 at Garden City Ks by Probate Judge Foster. She died at Trinty Manor Nursing Home where she had resided since Nov 30, 1988 moving from the farm in Hodgeman County.

One son, Keith Leon and wife, Jean Loree Hall survive along with 3 grandchildren, Kim Loree Gibbons,Debra Jean Stewart and Bryan Keith Hall;two great grandsons, Kristoffer Lee and Miles Joseph Gibbons; one sister, Erna Eugenia Bly and one brother, Douglass Arthur Bly, many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Nellie Gertrude"Babe" Kiner , Ada Lena Kitch, Lila Mae Lattimore.

Ida was in the first graduating class of Pierceville High School graduating in 1923.She was a member of the Pierceville Federated Church and a homemaker. She enjoyed all christian radio talk shows and Back-to-the Bible programs on radio daily.

Funeral services were held at Swaim Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Winget officiating.
