Mildred E. Hall Cadle, 93, died at 4:54 PM Monday, March 22, 1999, at Carle Hospital in Urbana, Champagin Co., Illinois. She was born August 9, 1905, in Hoopeston, Vermilion Co., Illinois, the daughter of William E. and Mary E. Mahoney Hall.

Mr.Cadle was a graduate of Hoopeston High School in 1924 and took her teacher's training in Danville, Illinois. She married John Philip Cadle on January 11, 1936, in Crown Point, Indiana.

Mrs. Cadle was a society editor for the "Hoopeston Chronicle", the "Hoopeston Evening Times", and the "Crystal Lake Herald", Crystal Lake, Illinois. She did editorial writing for "Gardening" and "Saddle Horses".

She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Rossville, a member of the United Methodist Women, the Merry Circle Club of Hoopeston, the Hoopeston and Rossville Historial Society, the Danville Women's Club, the Danville Priscilla Club, and the AOA Club of Rossville.

Her husband is the only immediate survivor. She was preceded in death by a sister.
