Betty Jo Hall, age 75, of Russellville, Alabama, passed away Friday, May 29, 2009, at Helen Keller Hospital.

Funeral service, 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 31, 2009, at First United Methodist Church, of Russellville, AL. Burial in Knights of Pythias Cemetery.

Mrs. Hall was a native of Haleyville, Alabama, but had lived in Russellville for 55 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Russellville and affiliated with the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and Eastern Star. She retired from Russellville Ready Mix as bookkeeper after 35 years.

Survivors include daughters, Nancy Jo Davis, of Russellville, Penny Hall Wells and husband, Tim, of Muscle Shoals; special grandsons, Tanner and John Wells; also Deanna Hitt, Shannon Hall, John Lawson, Phillip, Parker, and Kathryn Gargis; brothers, Isaac and Carlos Burleson, of Haleyville, Taft Burleson, of Florence, and Raymond Burleson, of Cullman.

Pallbearers, Brad Burleson, Tanner Wells, Gene Matthews, Joe Porter, Christopher Hall and Scott Godsey

Honorary pallbearers, John Wells, Jimmy Weatherford and Cecil Batchelor.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Charles T. "Blackie" Davis and John Bunn Hall; infant daughter; sister, Alta Frederick; brother, Junior Burleson.
