Mrs. Zollie Hall Rites Held

Mrs. Alice Marion Hall of Route 1, Honey Grove, died at 6:00 o'clock last Wednesday morning, December 12, 1973, at Grove Manor Nursing Home, Honey Grove. She had been in ill health for the past three years.

The funeral Thursday afternoon, December 13, was in Cooper-Sorrells Chapel with the Rev. Larry Ashley as officiant. Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery. Named pallbearers were Mac Siebenthall, R. M. Charles, John Henry Wicks, Garth Yeager and Weldon Briscoe.

A native of Tennessee, Mrs. Hall was born March 31, 1891, the daughter of John Charles and Francis Womack Charles.

She married Zollie Hall at Dial, March 17, 1912. He preceded her in death January 18, 1973.

She was a member of the Dial Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. W. M. Merrell of Pecan Gap and two brothers, Charlie Charles of Honey Grove and Frank Charles of Wichita Falls.
Mr. and Mrs. Zollie Hall

Mr. and Mrs. Zollie Hall of the Dial community will be honored at open house in their home Sunday afternoon, March 18, from 2:00 until 4:00 o'clock. The occasion is the observance of their fiftieth wedding anniversary. Friends and acquaintances are invited to call. Hostess will be Mrs. W. M. (Imogene) Merrill, the couple's daughter.

Mr. and Mrs. Hall have resided in the Dial community all their lives. They were married at the Dial Baptist Church on March 17, 1912 at eight o'clock in the evening. Officiant at the wedding was the late Rev. J. M. Word and the couple's attendants were Mr. Hall's nephew and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Grover Hall.

Mrs. Hall's parents were Mr. and Mrs. John G. Charles. She is a native of Tennessee.

Her mother died when she was eleven years of age and soon thereafter Mr. Charles and the family moved to the Dial community where the future Mrs. Hall grew to womanhood.

Mr. Hall's parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. M. S. Hall. He is a native and lifelong resident of the Dial community.
