COURIER-JOURNAL OBITUARY - 09/22/2011
DUNKELBERGER, RHONDA HALL, 58, of Louisville, passed away at her home Wednesday, September 21, 2011 with her family and friends by her side. She was a director of Physician Education at Synthes USA for 26 years, a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy 1971, the University of Louisville 1975 and a member of Chi Omega Sorority, of the Rotary Louisville Chapter and St. Bernadette Catholic Church. She had an unrelenting positive attitude and a smile that would light up the room. She exemplified her favorite quote, "You can change the world one random act of kindness at a time" She was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Hall Jr.; and loving grandmother, Agnes Leidolf. She is survived by her devoted husband, Melvin Dale Dunkelberger; sister, Holli Leigh Holmes; and her mother, Patricia Leidolf Douglas. Her funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2011 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Pewee Valley, WITH CREMATION TO FOLLOW. Visitation will be 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2011 at Pearson Ratterman Brothers Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Mulitple Meyloma Reseach Foundation.
