Addie Mae Haley Dixon

DIXON Addie Mae Haley Dixon, age 85, departed this life at her residence on Wed., May 16, 2012 surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Beloved wife of Wilmer Dixon, daughter of the late Phil and Emma Hamilton Haley. Mother of Linda Sue Dixon Johnson, Lionel Dixon, Sr., (Demetra), Kenny Ray Dixon (Suewann), granddaughter raised as daughter Andrelnel Thompson Lewis (Warren), grandmama of 23 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grand-children, sister of Wilbert Haley (Lucy) Jackson, MS, Beatrice Fouche Montgomery, AL and Clotile Mounger of Saginaw, MI. Also survived by a host of relatives a friends.

Special thanks to her nieces: Mattie Pearl Mack, Mary Ruth Edwards, Dianne Polk and Norma Thomas.

Members relatives, friends of Franklin Avenue Baptist Church, Household of Faith and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 9:00 AM at Beulah Land Baptist Church, 2436 St. Maurice Avenue, NOLA.

Visitation will begin from 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM. Pastor Michael Zacharie officiator.

Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park, NOLA.
