Estelle M. Cure, 801 Ashland Avenue, wife of Dr. Elmer T. Cure, died early Saturday morning at Ball Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.
She was born in Tippecanoe County near Lafayette, the daughter of Alonzo and Mabel Clara (Hitchborn) Haley. She graduated from Jefferson High School in Lafayette and attended business college there. Mrs. Cure was employed in Indianapolis prior to her marriage Nov. 28, 1923 and came to Muncie with her husband in 1926. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church.
Surviving besides her husband are her daughter, Mrs. Douglas (Dolores Jane) Orwig and three grandchildren, all of Santa Cruz, Calif.; and two sisters, Mrs. Lola Cook and Mrs. Jean St. German, both of Indianapolis.
Services will be held at the Meeks Mortuary at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday with Rev. C.Russell Moodey officiating. Entombment will follow in Elm Ridge Mausoleum. Friends may call at the mortuary an hour before the services.
