Laverne Billington, 74 of Wichita Falls, TX, passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2010 at Texhoma Christian Care Center.
She was born on August 12, 1935 in Childress, TX to the late George White Hale and Johnnie Henderson Hale. She was a member of Faith Village Church of Christ in Wichita Falls and was a retired contract specialist with the Civil Service for over 40 years.
She is survived by a brother, Eldon Hale of Wichita Falls; niece, Sheri Mummert and husband David of Wichita Falls; nephew, Brant Hale and wife Nicole of Wichita Falls; great nieces, Morgan and Julie and great nephews, Jason and Michael.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Faith Village Church of Christ with Charlie Thomason officiating.
Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park in Wichita Falls. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.
