Roxie Mable Bogan, 81, of Michigantown, died yesterday evening at Clinton County Hospital. She had been ill for two months.
Born in Middlefork on Feb 27, 1897, she was the daughter of Mary Elizabeth Hale. She married Earl William Bogan Dec 18, 1915, and he survivies.
Mrs. Bogan helped operate the Bogan Grocery in Michigantown for 24 years. She was a member of the Michigantown Methodist Church and the Eastern Star at Hillisburg.
Survivors include one daughter, Phyllis Niksch of Zionsville; two brothers, Mack of Frankfort and Perry of Rhode Island; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10am Wednesday at the Goodwin Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Friends may call after 3pm tomorrow.
