15-Month Old Afton Girl dies of Asthma
Julia Ann Hale, 15 month old daughter of Mr and Mrs Edward Hale of Afton, passed away Friday morning June 22 at the Star Valley Hospital.
She had been suffering from an asthma condition for several months. On Friday morning at 7:25 a.m. she was rushed to the hospital where she died at 8 a.m.
She was a lovely little girl and in her adorable and loving ways brought a great amount of happiness to her family as well as to all who came in contact with her. she will be well remembered by her doll-like looks and angelic ways, and her beautiful red curls.
Survivors beside the parents include one brother, Benny; and one sister Jennie Sue; also a grandmother Mrs Sam Palmer of Magna Utah.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 25, in the Afton Second-Third Ward Chapel, with Bishop Neal Kennington in charge. Interment was in the Afton Cemetery
Those attending funeral services from out of the valley included; Mrs M.J. Hansen and son Mervin, of Ogden, Utah; Mrs Oriel Kidman of Mendon, Utah; Mrs Harold Miller of Richmond, Utah; Mrs Louie Call and Mr and Mrs Roe White of Bancroft, Idaho; Mr and Mrs Elworth Crossley and daughters of Clearfield, Utah; Mm and Mrs Leo Vaterlaus of Salt Lake City; and Mr and Mrs Robert Cockerill of Venice, California.
