James Arron "Jim" Haire was born March 30, 1884 in Arlington, Tenn. to Mr. James Monroe Haire and Mrs. Virginia (Ross) Haire. James had eleven siblings. Four brother, John, George, Jesse and Sidney, and seven sisters, Annie, Lula, Coria, Cennie, Lillie, Vera and Ruby Haire. He married Margaret Smith of Louisiana in 1908 and together they had four children, Annie, Edwina, Frank and Marie Haire.
He passed away on August 25, 1958, in Bogalusa, Louisiana, at the age of 74. He was buried in Ponemah Cemetery.
