Funeral Service is scheduled for 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 9, followed by interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd., Gotha, FL 34734 with a prior visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Mr. Hair was born in Orlando, FL, the son of Melvin L. and Bessie Hair. He was preceded in death by his wife of almost 61 years, Mary Jean Hair; his brothers: Howard Hair, Jimmy Hair, Frank Hair and Melvin Hair and his sister, Bobbie Stroback. Burton is survived by his sons, Burton B. Hair, Jr. and his wife Yvonne, of Minneola, FL and Gene Vernon Hair and his wife, Cindy of Oakland, FL; his two grandchildren, Burton B. Hair III and Abigail Hair; and his great granddaughter, Makayla Hair.
Burton worked for over 20 years as a Construction Superintendent for Buena Vista Construction Company and helped build many buildings all over Orlando and Walt Disney World. He also served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Comforter in memory of Mr. Hair.
