Clifford E. Hahn, 65, of Olney, died at 3:15 p.m., Friday, Dec. 17, 1993, in his home.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., today (Monday), at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Father Jim Deiters officiating. Burial was in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Stringtown, with full military rites performed by the Olney Veterans Organization. Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.

Memorials may be made to the St. Joseph School Foundation Trust or Hospice of Southeastern Illinois.

Mr. Hahn was born Nov. 21, 1928, in Decatur, the son of Leas H. and Hilda Marie (Cochran) Hahn. He married Katie Dehner on July 15, 1950.

Mr. Hahn was the manager of Sherman's Department Store, and worked for Standard Oil Company for 15 years. Since 1964, he owned and operated Hahn Real Estate in Olney. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and also was a Korean War Veteran with the U.S. Marine Corps., past commander of American Legion Post #30, member of 40 & 8-Chef De Gare, he was a past commander of 5th Division-District 23 of the American Legion; past vice president of National Security Council of American Legion, certified real estate appraiser and past member of the Board of Realtors.

Mr. Hahn is survived by his wife, Katie Hahn of Olney; three sons, Kenneth Hahn and wife Anne, of Olney, David M. Hahn and wife, Jackie of Watson and Patrick Hahn and wife, Joan of Mattoon; a daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Karen) Numi of Collinsville; a brother, Melvin Hahn of Olney; two sisters, Mrs. Bill (Doris) Dehner of Monroe, Mich. and Mrs. George (Irene) Haase of Mt. Carmel and four grandchildren, Jeremiah, Mathew, Brittani and Haley.

Mr. Hahn was preceded in death by his parents.
