|Birth: ||Mar. 29, 1899|
|Death: ||May 13, 1961|
Married Naomi Alice Ahalt, April 1922 in Philadelphia, PA.
They set up housekeeping in old log home, which was built over a small spring, located on an old Indian trail, that passed by the home of John's sister, Nellie Elizabeth Hahn Grable. The trial continued on to High Rock. The house was located a short distance east of the Hahn family home place. The area was then known as Jerusalem, which was near Blue Mountain, Washington County, MD. The house foundation was still visible in the mid 1950's. The old home belonged to his father, who owned large parcels of land to support his sawmill operations. His father went on to build homes for each of children. The source of the information is from the memoirs of Pauline Brown Hahn and Arminta Fager Reynolds.
John Hahn survived the deadly influenza out brake of 1918, which affected his health the remainder of his life.
Children: LaNona Alice Hahn, married Richard O. Mong; Verona June Hahn, married Charles Glenn Hurley; Wanda LaRue Hahn, married Gilmore Leroy Stitely; Jay Walter Hahn, married Mary Schamm; and Omega Mae Hahn, married Rex Bloom.
