Funeral services for Lester L. Haggard, age 23, were held Monday at the Clark Funeral Home. The Rev. Myron W. Young, conducted the service, with burial in East Hill Cemetery. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps in Vietnam and was discharged in January of 1968. He was injured fatally in a traffic accident Saturday, south of Morgantown on State Road 135. His survivors are his parents Alvin and Mary Haggard and a brother Kenneth Allen. Oct 9, 1969.
