Dorothy was the youngest daughter of Ralph and Rose Haen. She was raised in Piqua Ks. along with her five brothers and a sister. She married Dean Delaplain at St. Martins Catholic church, Piqua in 1961. They lived in Pomona, Ca. until 1993 when they returned to Kansas.
She is survived by her husband and three daughters, DeAnne, Debbie and her husband Rick, Denise and her husband Paul. Four grandchildren, Michael, John, Roseanne and Joshua all of Iola.
Four brothers, Richard and his wife Ruth, Steve and his wife Patty, David and his wife Patsy and Paul and his wife Rita and a sister Ruth. A brother, Michael Haen, proceded her in death.
Her body was donated to the University of Kansas Department of Anatomy for research. And no services were held per her request.
