Hannah Hacker, 76, of Rutter Avenue, Kingston, died Sunday at her home. Born in Exeter, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Pearl Bransdorf Wruble. She graduated from the former Exeter High School. Following her marriage 54 years ago, she lived in Plymouth where she and her husband operated Hacker's, a retail grocery store. Later, they moved to Kingston. While living in Plymouth, she was a member of the former B'nai Israel Synagogue. She also served as a past president of its sisterhood. She also was a member of Temple Israel and its sisterhood. She was an officer in Hadassah and council of Jewish Women. She also was employed as a bookkeeper in the Temple Israel office for several years before her retirement. Surviving are her husband, Morris; daughters, Mrs. Jean (Paula) Boutemy, Paris, France; Mrs. Richard (Susan) Stang, St. Louis, Mo.; a grandchild; a brother, Raymond, West Palm Beach, Fla.; and a sister, Mrs. Sarah Marcus, Exeter. -- The Times Leader - May 20, 1997
