Martin T. Haberman, 71, native Ellensburg farmer, died Thursday at Kittitas Valley Community Hospital. He was born May 26, 1903 in Ellensburg. He was married to Ruby Gustafson, January 19, 1929 at Ellensburg.
Haberman farmed in the Fairview District until moving to No. 6 Road in 1941 and had farmed there since that time. He was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church and the Fairview Farm Bureau.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby, of Ellensburg; three sons, Jerry of Ellensburg, Gene of Selah, and John of Monroe; two brothers, George and John, both of Ellensburg; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Rollinger of Ellensburg and Mrs. Othelia Hobbick of Des Moines, Wash.
Rosary tonight 8 p.m. at St. Andrews. Requiem Mass Saturday, 10 a.m. at St. Andrews. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery.
