She was born Aug. 17, 1921, in Petowskey, Mich., a daughter of Harry and Mildred Brotherton Haas. She married Gordon O. Barrett and he preceded her in death Nov. 23, 2005.
She was a graduate of Dormont High School in Pittsburgh and West Liberty State Teachers College, West Liberty, W.Va.
She was of the Unitarian faith.
Survivors include two sons, George H. Barrett of Bevard, N.C., and Gordon O. Barrett Jr. of Jupiter, Fla.; a daughter, Betsy Barrett of Meadville; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, John M. Barrett.
Graveside service will be Thursday at 11:30 a.m. in Greendale Cemetery, with the Rev. Travis Webster, associate pastor of First Presbyterian Church, officiating.
