Son of Thomas H Hart and Barbara Bechtel, both born in Ohio.

Lloyd and Mildred Sybil "Millie" Brewer, were married on June 15, 1910, in Wyandot County, Ohio. They had one daughter together during their marriage, Barbara D Hart. Lloyd and Mildred later divorced and both remarried in the late 1920's.

Lloyd married Frankie Marie McLean on January 2, 1928, at the Church of the Nazarene in Long Beach, Los Angeles County, California. Their marriage was witnessed by Frankie's brother, Donald R McLean and Lloyd's brother, Harley H Hart. Lloyd and Frankie had one daughter during their life together, Marilyn Jeanine Hart.
