Daughter Dies Shortly After Father's Funeral
Death visited the John Gwillim home southeast of LaHarpe twice last week, taking first the father, and then claiming his only daughter, Miss Anna Gwillim, within a few hours after his funeral service Saturday afternoon.
Miss Gwillim who was 67 years old, had returned to the farm home after the funeral Saturday. She died of heart disease after commencing her evening chores. She had been ill with flu about two weeks ago and was in run down condition.
The father and daughter were both born in Herefordshire, England, and came to Allen County in the 1870's.
The funeral service for Miss Gwillim will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Sleeper service rooms, conducted by the Rev. Claude DeWitt. Burial will be in the Iola cemetery.
She is survived by uncles, aunts, and cousins.
