LYMAN, SC-- Durenda Gayle Gosnell Guy, 43, of 167 Holly Circle, died Friday, June 24, 2011, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
A native of Spartanburg County, a daughter of Harold and Carol Fortenberry Gosnell of Lyman, she was appointment manager of Palmetto Surgical Specialist and a member of The Greer Church of God of Prophecy.
Surviving are her husband, Donald Guy of the home; a daughter, Brittany Ann Gosnell of the home; a son, Dustin Keith Guy of the home; a brother, Richard Gosnell of Greer; a sister, Deborah Lynn Boswell of Inman, her maternal grandparents, R.B. and Effie Fortenberry of Inman; nieces, Jessica Powell, Emily and Lindsey Gosnell; and nephews, Zane Gosnell and Adam Powell.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 27, 2011, at The Greer Church of God of Prophecy, conducted by Rev. Paul Johnson and Rev. Ralph James. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers will be Frank, Jordan and Elloitt Powers, Shane Fortenberry, Richard Gosnell and Allen Dixon.
Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday at The Greer Church of God of Prophecy.
