Gustin, Daniel Paul
Daniel Paul Gustin, 17, of Lathrop, MO, passed away February 26, 2008. A Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Saturday evening at the First Christian Church of Lathrop. Services and burial in the Lathrop Cemetery will be private for family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a fund for the Industrial Arts Department at the Lathrop High School in care of the Lathrop Bank.
Daniel was born March 9, 1990 in Clay County. He was a senior student at Lathrop High School where he excelled in Building Trades. He recently received a third place award at the Skills USA District Competition. He also enjoyed working with engines of all kinds. He was Baptist. Daniel was preceded in death by his father, G. Paul Gustin and grandfather, Oscar Gustin. He leaves his mother and step-father, Judy and Richard Canaday; his siblings, David (and wife Raechel), Adrienne, Darren, Damen, Amelia, and Audra Gustin, and Elijah Canaday; his grandparents, Evalina Gustin and David and June Assel; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
