Mrs. Gladys Irene Gunn Boatner 78 of 709 Murphy Ave died at West Ga. Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Putnam and Nora Staley Gunn. She retired from Live Oak Plant and was a member of Unity Baptist Church
Survivors include a son Mark (Janice) Boatner; daughters Cynthia (Phil) Coplenad Emily Hinkle (Danny )Lynch son Alan Boatner 4 grandchildren; three sisters Dora Mary Dunn, Nora Harris and Annie Gunn a brother Willie (Marty) Gunn. She was preceded in death by her husband Calvin Boatner, Sr. son Calvin Boatner, Jr. daughter Mary Elizabeth Boatner; sister and brother in law Mattie Joe and Julian Lowery. Funeral service at Hunter allen Myhand with Rev. Bobby Robinson. burial in Shadowlawn Cemetery
