Marcia was a 1947 graduate of The Ohio State University. She was employed for many years by Newark City Schools where she worked as a social worker. She was a member of the Heisey Collectors of America and was one of the original docents at the Heisey Museum. In addition, Marcia enjoyed sewing and was a talented artist.
She is survived by
her husband of 61 years, Billy C. Booth, of the home;
her sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffrey Alan and Sharon Booth of Westerville, and Denton Lee and Bonita Booth of Glenn Allen, Virginia;
her daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth Anne and Larry Marks of Poquoson, Virginia, and Alicia Louise and Brian Wilson of Delaware;
her six grandchildren; Brad Booth of Washington D.C., Ryan (Stacey) Booth of Richmond, Virginia, Jessica Booth of Westerville, Capt. Alan Marks, Scott AFB, Illinois, Lee Marks of Poquoson, and Amber Wilson of Cleveland;
several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Marcia was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph and Ronald Gundlach.
A Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with Fr. Jimmy Hatfield officiating. Interment in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Newark.
