Darlene was a loving wife and mother, devoted daughter and granddaughter and friend to many.
She was a fantastic cook. She was always prepared with a quick word of sage advice, "Let me tell you, kiddo" She lived an incredible life, traveling the world with her parents in her youth, living in Scotland, England and numerous places in the States. She survived a hurricane. She was a caregiver all her life, becoming a mother at 17, nursing sick grandparents, parents, her husband and a mentally and visually challenged child up till the last 3 years of her life, hindered only by her own health limitations.

She has earned her rest and Daddy is so very happy to have her join him. Rest easy, Mama.
