Ann Gullo, 98, of Green Bay, passed away on October 11, 2013. She was born on August 10, 1915 to the late Martin and Monica (Wachal) Fabian, in Pilsen. She married Joseph J. Gullo on June 9, 1934, in Chicago. Ann was employed by St. Vincent Hospital for 22 years, until her retirement. She also farmed in Pilsen for many years. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, baking and canning. She will be missed the most for her wonderful Belgian pies and Kolaches. Ann was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church and the Wisconsin Czechs.
Survivors include her daughter, JoAnn VandenAvond; grandchildren, Carl (Kim) VandenAvond, Ann (Kevin) Lardinois and Sandy (Jason) Wyckoff; 2 great-grandchildren, Carlie and Damian Wyckoff; nieces and nephews; 2 special friends, Ruth Herlache and Margaret Kleczka.She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; son-in-law, Francis VandenAvond; special friend, Victor Chezk; 1 sister, Mary Jerovetz; 4 brothers, Joe, Martin, Matt and George Fabian.Friends may call at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2040 Hillside Ln. from 11 a.m to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial 2:30 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Jose' Castaneda officiating. Entombment in the Allouez Catholic Mausoleum.
